File your Washington certified payroll right the first time.

Drop in the payroll export you already have. FileWage checks every worker against the L&I rate for their trade and county, marks what's wrong, and builds the file to upload. No retyping, and no surprises from the GC.

Free to join. Waiting list members get the founding price of $49/mo, locked for life. We'll email you once, when it opens.

Example for illustration. Names and rates are made up.

One job: get your certified payroll filed and accepted

Every week, on every public job. Here's what that's worth to you.

Get paid on time

A report that gets sent back can hold up your payment on the job. FileWage catches the problems before the GC or L&I does.

Stop retyping

Your hours and rates are already in payroll. Upload the export once and get the L&I file, instead of copying every worker by hand.

Sign with confidence

You sign that every worker was paid the right rate. FileWage shows you each worker's rate next to the L&I rate, so you know before you sign.

How much of your month goes to certified payroll?

Set your own numbers. This is the time you spend just getting reports out the door. Every report sent back adds more on top.

That's about

13 hours

a month on certified payroll, before any report gets sent back.

Three steps. No new payroll system.

Keep running payroll the way you do now. FileWage only needs the export.

1

Drop in your pay run

Export it as CSV or Excel. Match your columns once and FileWage remembers them.

2

Fix the marked cells

Each worker is checked against the L&I rate for their trade and county. Every flag says what to change.

3

Upload to L&I

Download a file ready for the L&I system. You review it and sign, the same as today.

What gets a report sent back

FileWage looks for every one of these before you file.

Missing intent numbers, repeated weeks and totals that don't add up.

Common questions

Does FileWage file with L&I for me?

No. You download the file and upload it to L&I yourself. You stay in control and sign, the same as today.

If FileWage finds nothing, am I guaranteed to pass?

No. FileWage flags likely problems for you to review. You are still responsible for what you submit to L&I.

My payroll isn't QuickBooks, Gusto or ADP. Will it work?

Any payroll system that exports to CSV or Excel will work. Tell us which one you use when you reserve.

What happens when I join the waiting list?

Nothing to pay. You get one email when FileWage opens, with the founding price of $49 a month locked for you. You can also reserve your spot early on the next screen, fully refundable.

Are you part of Washington L&I?

No. FileWage is an independent company and is not affiliated with the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries.
